Of course the AudioShare door station announces the arrival of a visitor, but there are several other things it can do. Those capabilities depend on which model you choose.

Two Models Available

The ASDS model is the fully intercom-enabled door station intended for use with an AudioShare intercom and music system. It is also Control4 Compatible, connecting the AudioShare and Control4 systems in your home. The C4DS model is intended to be used without the AudioShare intercom and music system, becoming the dedicated door station for your Control4 system.

ASDS Model — AudioShare Intercom Door Station

The intercom enabled door station gives homeowners the convenience and security of answering and communicating with the door from any AudioShare wall station in the home. Multiple door stations can be connected, each with its own user-selected door chime. An optional control relay module can be added for control of third party door strike or gate release. This door station is also Control4 Compatible, able to initiate a Control4 event as well as chime to all AudioShare wall stations.

C4DS Model — Control4 Compatible Door Station

The lower priced C4DS model does not enable voice communication with the door station, but is Control4 Compatible, allowing the signal from the door station to initiate any programmed Control4 event, such as playing a chime or other recorded file on the Control4 music zones and back to the door station speaker. This allows the visitor at the door to signal arrival and also hear the selected chime or recording at the door.

Elegant Appearance

Each AudioShare door station has an elegant metal face. In addition to the four colors shown, we may be able to create a custom finish that perfectly suits you. More standard colors are coming.
