About audioShareaudioShare is the first all digital music distribution system with selective call intercom. audioShare can digitally send music or voice throughout your entire house. Once a connection is made, audioShare is hands free which allows you to easily have a conversation that both sides can hear without having to push any other buttons. Other state-of-the-art features include monitor mode allowing you to send sound from one room to any or all rooms in the house. Another convenient feature is conference all, which allows every room in the house to be “conferenced” in to a conversation. Because each unit is a “master” unit, you can access all features with ease from any unit.Today, typical homeowners have music devices such as computers, iPods (or other portable mp3 players) satellite radios, CD players and other media players (like windows Media Center) all over the house. A music distribution system is needed to connect all the audio devices together allowing the homeowner to listen to anything they want, where and when they want. audioShare is that music distribution system. By simply pushing a few buttons from any unit, music can be played in any or all rooms. Each unit in the audioShare system is a master unit, which allows for large scalability. In fact, audioShare could be installed with over 200 units, all working together to give the customer a complete music and intercom package. The patent-pending Media Networking™ technology developed by DHC enables many more features than are available through competitors’ analog systems. Some of these features include:
- Direct dial to a room, multiple rooms, or all call
- Full hands-free digital intercom communication (even in conferencing multiple rooms)
- Great room monitoring and whole home listening features, yet privacy features, too.
- Patent-pending Automatic Volume Level Restore™ technology that automatically restores volume levels to user-defined presets when an intercom or music connection is initiated.
- Connectivity with all audio devices – iPod*, computer, satellite radio, home stereo, home theater system, etc.
